Steering Committee Membership
Do you enjoy the NURAP programming, newsletter, and networking opportunities? Are you interested in helping shape the research administration environment at Northwestern? Then come join us!
The steering committee is NURAP’s decision-making body. It meets bimonthly, with meeting locations alternating between the Evanston and Chicago campuses, along with the option to teleconference. We strive to maintain a roster with diversity of experience, departmental affiliations, and roles in research administration.
NURAP is accepting applications for new members to join the NURAP steering committee beginning at the start of the next fiscal year in September. We request a minimum commitment to a 2-year term. Click here to apply.
Steering committee membership is further grouped into four standing subcommittees, responsible for creating the strategy and accomplishing the activities of the organization. Descriptions of each subcommittee can be found below:
The Membership subcommittee oversees maintenance of the listserv, manages outreach to potential members, and organizes networking events.
